Butterfly?

Looking out my garden one day i was pretty inspired to find a number of butterflies (moths?) flying about. I noticed a red and white one.. and grabbed my camera to take a picture of it.. but unfortunately didnt get to it in time... however this one specimen came along and stayed by the flowers for a while. Luckily i had my 90-300mm lens ready and caught this shot.

I know this blog has featured many types of shots but i dont believe we have captured animal shots. Im hoping we can add to our collection some good animal/insect shots.

Its not the best shot but i was glad that i managed to catch this shot.

btw if anyone knows what butterfly (or moth?) this is please let me know! Im very curious. oh and in case ure wondering this was taken in the garden of my house in Malaysia. :)
